Mango, previously "Mando," belonged to a military family that was moving overseas. We took him in summer of 2023 and he instantly became family. He loves to sit on shoulders and hang out. He is nervous around kids, but feels safe as long as there is an adult he can sit on. He will make kiss sounds if you ask him to "gimme kiss." He also dances to the song Oogum Boogum, which is a family favorite. Mango's most exciting part of the day is when his favorite human comes home from work and they sit down and have dinner together. He likes the coloring app on my phone and will use his tongue to color pictures of birds. Mango sleeps in his little tent at the top of his cage. He shows us when it is bedtime and prefers to be covered. He has such a personality and even gets moody sometimes, requiring a cage break. He has started to really come out of his shell the past few weeks.
