Maggie came to us from a farmer who raises boer goats. She was one of quadruplets, but had an umbilical infection from birth that caused swelling in her legs. Her mama and brother did not survive the infection. The farmer helped her heal enough to stand on two legs, but her other two brothers would constantly knock her down. She spent time healing and being bottle fed. Eventually she was able to walk, and now run and jump on her sore legs. The swelling is gone, though the vet thought it may be chronic. Seeing her now, you would never know how fragile she was. She is bonded to Mallory, who also came with a sore leg and they have been bottle fed together since.
